This was a character I created about the same time JonBonet Ramsey was killed. My daughter was about her age and I wanted to have an "outlet" for my anger that something like this could happen.

I took Eddie's name from two people that are one.

I really liked Ed O'neil''s performance in POPEYE DOYLE, hence the two became one.

This looks a lot like the place I worked at for almost 10 years. The guy behind the counter was a manager there and one of my closest friends, Dave.

I also made a 'STAY AWAY FROM STRANGERS" comic that starred Eddie. I gave about 100 of them away at the comic shop to kids.

The little saying at the end was from a Jackie Chan letter that told about the passing of a friend of his. It just seemed to make a lot of 'Zen Sense'.
